Arrow Tours is one of the oldest, best-established names in the Irish Travel industry – and were the “go-to” supplier of short and city breaks in Ireland. Then the world changed, and the Internet and changes in the airline industry have completely revolutionised this sector of the travel industry. Arrow needed to refocus the business to ensure it had as great a future as its past. Ben Green, the Managing Director, knew that they needed to compete online, and had to change the focus of the business to allow agents and direct customers to assemble and book their own packages in real time.

Ben came to us with his plans, and together we mapped out a path that has allowed Arrow, in addition to still being a major player in its traditional market, to establish itself as a major supplier to the Irish Travel industry of city centre hotels. We deployed Empower Connect with connections to several different bedbanks in real time to allow Arrow’s customers to find and book the best hotel deals possible. Empower Connect also allows customers to find and book the best flight deals from low cost and scheduled airlines.

Arrow’s future is assured, and Ben and his colleagues can now concentrate on marketing their new look business.
